@moonman There are two dimentions in the support of different protocols of Social networks, which I'm facing during development :
1. Implementation of different API calls and parsing responses of every API of every supported protocol.
I cope with this problem simply by implementing only some of available APIs (features)...
2. Trying to adapt internal data/actions model so that it could fit into conceptual differencies of different systems. This is a lot more time consuming and difficult to do right. In #AndStatus we started ten years ago with Twitter-like model. For the last two years I'm gradually converting it into #ActivityPub based model...

@metalbiker I hope #gnusocial devs finish #activitypub implementation ASAP to avoid disconnection to :mastodon: AND connect that part of #fediverse to other important services. I wish Gargron waits till that moment. He'll not.
@oros that's it, part of #fediverse uses Ostatus to connect their services. Ostatus is deprecated and gargron has decided to delete this feauture from HIS code. I do not endorse any of this, just saying.
Personally I'm fed up with all this 💩

Does anyone know if the href property of as:Hashtag is used in other cases than providing the link to the public page of the originating instance. I've noticed #Mastodon and #Friendica do that, but not #PeerTube.

Todas esas #RRSS y/o servicios los puedes conectar a tu cuenta de #friendica. Ademas TODOS los que usan el estandar #ActivityPub pueden conectar a Friendica: Ahi tienes otro error.
Y te lo repito: Friendica es la unica (que yo conozco) RRSS, que puede manejar el formato RSS: O intenta agregar un servicio RSS a tu cta de #pleroma o #hubzilla, simplemente NO puedes

@fanta no se de donde has obtenido ese cuadro, pero a mi me parece algo raro, pues mirando en wikipedia, ahi aparece que #friendica se integra muy bien con #activitypub (#Mastodon, #Pleroma, #Pixelfed...), #RSS, #Twitter, #diaspora*, #Pumpio, #StatusNet, #google+, #wordpress, #Tumblr, #Lebertree, etc... ademas de tener un formato propio #dfrn
Y por lo que entiendo, Pleroma es similar a mastodon, por lo que actualmente soporta unicamente activitypub y #ostatus

It's 2019, and curiously, Pump.io still doesn't federate with the rest of the fediverse.

Diaspora is just as bad about this, but #ActivityPub itself is largely derived from stuff Pump was doing.
