Mi suegro tiene un Huawei P-Smart del 2019 que solo lo usa para llamar y para ver las fotos que le mandan por Whatsapp.

Ayer por la mañana, y sin tocar nada, cada vez que lo llamaban se ponía la pantalla en negro y no podía descolgar.

Hoy, aprovechando que se acercaba al hospital a una revisión, he perdido una hora intentanto encontrar el problema.

¿Por qué de la noche a la mañana no funciona la aplicación del teléfono y además se bloquea y deja de responder?

Después de revisar permisos, ajustes en notificaciones, borrar caché y almacenamiento, e incluso testear el sensor de proximidad aún sabiendo que no era (la pantalla no se apagaba, se quedaba en negro con la barra superior visible). Al final decidí tirar de alternativa a #google, descargar #fdroid e instalar un dialer sencillo. Problema resuelto.

¿Cuál es la causa de que la aplicación teléfono de #google haya dejado de funcionar bien? No lo sé pero sospecho que es un claro ejemplo de #obsolescenciaprogramada

Yesterday I visited the Google Cambridge office in Kendall, with its recently completed 16-floors building.

It's super nice and cool, but also doesn't seem like a particularly brilliant investment in today's world where remote work is already becoming the norm for tech workers.

Había olvidado añadir alternativas al navegador propietario de #Google.
Tanto Librewolf en #PC como Mull en #Android son derivados de Firefox con mejor configuración por defecto y se actualizan con una frecuencia decente.
