    De todas formas, la GPL te garantiza 4 #libertades que van por sobre la legislacion local de un pais.

    #USA prohible la exportacion de tecnologias de encriptacion y #PGP no podia usarse fuera de su territorio. Cuando aparecio #GPG se termino esa restriccion. Fin del problema.

    Para #AOSP es lo mismo. #GAFAM tiene prohibido comerciar con #Huawei, pero TODAS las app #libres seguiran siendolo, aunque USA se ponga a llorar.

    Páginas web para aplicar un cifrado #PGP a nuestros correos

    PGP, Pretty Good Privacy, es un tipo de cifrado que utiliza un sistema criptográfico muy potente de manera que, a la hora de comunicarnos, por ejemplo, a través del correo electrónico podamos verificar la integridad y la autenticidad del mensaje, evitando, además, que otros usuarios puedan leerlo sin tener las correspondientes claves.

    Dadas las amenazas, cada vez más frecuentes, que podemos encontrar en Internet, y al espionaje de las grandes empresas, organizaciones y gobiernos que asola la red, cada vez es más importante tener siempre a mano un sistema de cifrado que nos permita comunicarnos con otras personas de la forma más segura posible. Por desgracia, muchos usuarios no utilizan este tipo de cifrado debido, principalmente, a que suele ser bastante complicado de utilizar.

    Por ello, a continuación os vamos a hablar de varias páginas web diseñadas para permitirnos utilizar muy fácilmente el cifrado PGP para cifrar mensajes y correos y poder comunicarnos de forma segura a través de Internet.

    You know what would be awesome?

    A #decentralized #selfhosted #federated #identity #server that doesn't require a degree from MIT to install & configure which works with a wide variety of other #selfhosted software. And while we're at it - throw in #Libravatar as well.

    Right now, I have a #ring id, a #PGP key, a cloud id (#nextcloud) a mastodon id, a #Matrix id and email - all different.
    It's a mess. I really just want to be "Falgn0n" everywhere - y'know?

    A ver si lo entiendo,

    existe el correo cifrado, tenemos la posibilidad de enviar correos electrónicos sin que nadie pueda entender ni leer (thunderbird con enigmail),

    se dispone de la mensajería cifrada, que se puede conectar dos personas en segundos y todo cifrado (xmpp con otr o memo),

    hay una aplicación donde varias personas se pueden interconectar sin que nadie conozca ni tan siquiera de su existencia, estos pueden hablar, mandar mensajes, transferir archivos (retroshare),

    se puede tambien sincronizar y enviar grandes contenidos de un dispositivo a otros de forma muy privada y sin preocuparse de los detalles más que tu identificación (syncthing),

    y ahora la gran novedad es que todo documento de formato libre como libreoffice puede también ser cifrado con pgp y no reconocer nadie su contenido, para que llegue perfectamente en manos de quien lo necesite sin problema alguno (libreoffice+openpgp).

    Y después de todo esto no nos podemos quejar ni reclamar que no existe métodos para la privacidad, pues si están y si existe siempre los medios, las técnicas y las formas de alcanzar un mensaje sin que nadie pueda entrar o interferir.

    Sin mencionar muchos otros métodos, por ejemplo el navegador Tor para visitar páginas de forma anónima.

    El único detalle es aprender los dos pasos necesarios, configurar, guardas las claves y enviar. Nada más. !bobinas #pgp #seguridad
