The Paint Or Varnish Has Long Fallen Away. A Short Distance Behind The Boat Is A Fish Flake (Hjell) Stretching From The Left Margin To The Right. This Is A Large 'A' Shaped Wooden Frame With Battens Stretching Horizontally Where Fish - Often Cod, Are Hung Out To Dry. This Hjell Has 13 Or More Rows Of Fish Drying On A Frame Maybe Stretching 30 Metres. The Drying Fish Are Then Covered With A Thin Net To Deter Birds Feeding. The Location Is Honningsvåg A Small Town / City On The Island Of Magerøya, 71º North Of The Equator, About 700km North Of The Norwegian Arctic Circle (2015).

Le ciel et ces plans de montagnes occupent la moitié supérieure de la photo au milieu, entre ces arrières plans et le premier plan, un fleuve de brume ou de nuages semble avoir noyé des pentes plus basses. Ça et là émergent distinctement les cimes des arbres, leurs bases noyées comme dans les écharpes blanches des vapeurs. Today's historic #photo of the day: Exactly 37 years ago today, Melbourne's only remaining U class #tram the city's oldest surviving electric car, no 19W, built in 1906 by J.G. Brill of Philadelphia, sits alongside W2 class tram no 331 in a shed at the Tramway Museum Society of Victoria's museum at Bylands, Vic, October 25 1987.

1. A collection of historic tramcars sits in a fairly well lit modern shed. Nearest the camera is a saloon style car painted in a cream colour with diagonal black stripes on its lower body sides and ends. The drivers cab has three windows and an access door with running board/step is on the front right corner, and all the windows along the side of the saloon have been painted or boarded over. The number 19W is prominent in black numerals below the central headlight at lower front apron, and a fixed destination display announces FREIGHT CAR in white lettering on a black background above the central drivers cab window.
