Who likes #urbex here? I'm waiting for #pixelfed federation to be released to publish a little adventure in this abandoned, post-hippie, ex-squat castle in the middle of the city (where, btw, I used to live).

We think you will like the new UI and features! #pixelfed

Federation support is almost ready 🤗

New https://pixelfed.org website coming soon! I think you will like it. 😉 #pixelfed

Hello world!This is the official project account of #PixelFork ,an #PixelFed fork made by @nipos with more focus on free and open software.We'll mainly take things from the official source but improve it.The biggest differences will be the availability of a federated timeline and that analytics/insights shit will be removed.The repository is on https://notabug.org/pixelfork/pixelfork on NotABug,an open code platform.The project starts when federation comes to PixelFed.

Its almost done, pretty soon you will be able to install pixelfed with a single command 👌#pixelfed

The ethical Instagram alternative @pixelfed is launching soon, but did you know that there's another federated photo sharing site in development?

It's called #Anfora (previously known as Zinat) and it's been developed in co-operation with #PixelFed so that they will be as compatible as possible (and they both use #ActivityPub).

Anfora is asking for help and feedback, links below:

Instagram & Mastodon import is almost ready! #pixelfed

@prismo

#FOSS works best when we're pioneering something new that the entrenched players don't even want to think about because it's against their business model.

Right now, #activitypub is creating something really interesting and new ( the #fediverse ) by being an interoperable layer connecting previously separate proprietary services. #Twitter, #Instagram and #Reddit won't share content and comments, but #Mastodon, #PixelFed and #Prismo (+others) will...

#Diaspora? 😢

Fedibertsoa konkistatzeko beste pausotxo bat: #pixelfed-en izena emateko aukera dago. Etorkizun handiko proiektua izango delakoan, profila ireki eta probatzen hasiko naiz https://pixelfed.social/dabidnet

I'd like to tag the first release candidate on July 17th. Federation support needs to be perfect before I push it, and it should be in the next few days! #pixelfed #ThreeMonthsLater
