What's your favourite #Tusky theme?

Also, this is an example of what can happen when we normalize the idea of blocking groups of people from otherwise neutral technical platforms for political reasons. Which is why I've been consistently arguing against #Tusky developers' decision to block a certain domain name in their #Mastodon app, despite sympathizing with their political motivations for doing so.

Coming to #Tusky nightly today: A redesigned search that can display more than the first few results, thx to the folks from RomaApps that keep contributing back upstream.

So, I hear the maintainers of #Tusky, my #Mastodon client of choice, have chosen to take responsibility for how their software is being used. Good! Let this be the start of a new era in free software.

So basically, the main dev of gab welcomes that they aren't blocked by default. Please block them in the #mastodon project code, in #tusky, #fedilab and all other fediverse apps. He just aims to be able to invade anyone's home, the devs have a duty of stopping these nazis.

Before I go off to celebrate Midsummer by being in bed sick (Swedish woes), I want to share a small update.

#Tusky will keep blocking servers which actively promote fascism. This in particular means Gab.

We will get our next release out just in time for the 4th of July.

Don't even try to debate us about Free Speech. This is our speech, exercising #ANTIFA views. And we will keep doing it :toot:
