Looks like #Twitter is blocking, at least for now, specific third-party apps such as #Tweetbot http://cjbec.link/aj

I’ve still quite a few real people I follow on #Twitter as a way of “keeping in touch”. Now they’ve broken they API so I can’t use #Tweetbot I’m a little sad, but glad for the excuse to not interact with that horrible company ever again.

I don't know what's going on on #Twitter right now. Nevertheless, I am very happy that two Twitter clients for iOS ( #Tweetbot and #Spring) will be available as Mastodon clients ( @ivory and @MonaApp). Both are currently in beta and I'm really excited to test both apps. Although they are currently in beta, both apps are really good and feel almost complete.

Sorry to talk about #Twitter but the only way that site was even reasonably usable to me was through third-party apps like #Tweetbot. If they're just going to shut off access to it, I don't know how I'll even do the engaging required of me for my job.

Well looks like third-party apps, like #Tweetbot can't log in to Twitter's API. If this continues to be an issue, this is what will stop me from using #Twitter going forward. I will not be using their UI with built-in ads and promoted content, thank you very much. Tweetbot has already acknowledged the issue: https://twitter.com/tweetbot/status/1613763746437947394
