After an afternoon + evening debugging yesterday, we could tackle many issues with the #libervia #XMPP <=> #ActivityPub gateway with @linkmauve .
Thanks a lot to @Claire for her help.
The gateway is confirmed working with native PEP service of #Prosody. And @linkmauve is actually an XMPP account on AP through the gateway.
There are still several issues to fix here and there, but we're on the right way.
And I need feedback to stabilise the gateway!
SàT PubSub 0.3.0 has been released!
SàT PubSub is a XMPP PEP/PubSub service which aims to be feature complete and server independent (as in you can use it with any XMPP server).

Salut à Toi has a new presentation website, made with its own web framework!
You'll find it at https://salut-a-toi.org and there is a new documentation (work in progress), notably you can see how to send e2ee message or edit a blog with jp (CLI frontend).
Hello, here is the new

Hi everybody!
The beta version of Salut à Toi (0.7.0b1) is out.
As a reminder, "Salut à Toi" is a libre, decentralized and ethical communication ecosystem.

OMEMO encryption update just pushed in SàT, it's now fully implemented for one2one chat (will probably do group encryption for next release), fingerprint management included (no QR Code yet). As always, it's also available from command line, sending an encrypted message is as simple as `echo something | jp message send -e omemo somebody@example.net`.
OTR still working too, with same mechanism.
Hi #XMPP folks, I see many people looking for OMEMO capable clients on desktop, Windows or Mac, etc. But I've got nearly no feedback after my call for contributors for SàT. OMEMO is nearly implemented there (80% done).
WE NEED YOUR HELP: it should work on Windows and Mac, it works on Android and GNU/Linux, and should work on *BSD or other OS.
We have desktop, Android, TUI, CLI, and Web frontends, and a *LOT* of features, but we need contributors/testers (it's Python).

With the announce of #microsoft buying #github, it's a good time to recall that I've started to write tools for a decentralized forge in Salut à Toi (based on #XMPP), with tickets and merge requests implemented.
It's already working, it's written in a popular language (#python) and help would be more than welcome (check our XMPP MUC room at sat@chat.jabberfr.org).
Blog post and demo at https://www.goffi.org/b/9555cc02-6a87-4b6b-af85-20f1c0736722/xmpp-based-tickets-merge-requests-with .
