I'm super sad to announce that in cause of bad server configuration, entire production database of prismo.news has been accidentally wiped out. Without option to restore it.

You can't imagine how angry i am right now but i assure you i'm gonna write an extended post about that incident with description of everything that happened and lessons learned.

I'm super sorry for your loss, i hope fediverse will forgive me one day.

@thoughtcrime it's broken because you've did it as a regular markdown link. Linking to external services is done simply by writing @username@domain.com without any markdown linking stuff

@thoughtcrime linking should work fine. can you give any example of it being broken?

@evelynyap we can't really do anything with that on Prismo side. it's a Mastodonts "fault".

What's more, we're not doing this for traffic...because why? We don't serve ads so why on earth would we need to gather traffic this way?

The lead developer needs help with implementing federation, either coding or better documentation about ActivityPub.
