@xuv prismo upvote is a regular ActivityPub `Upvote` activity, it's named `Star/Favourite` on mastodon but that's the same thing - it's official name is Upvote.

Yeah, prismo federates these upvotes not just among other prismo instances but among all the subscribed activitypub services

@xuv you will not be able to follow mastodon accounts from prismo as prismo and mastodon uses different object types for content (mastodon toot is a `Note` while prismo post is a `Page` or `Article`). So it's not gonna happen.

And Prismo upvote is a Mastodon star/favourite

@wakest @jaywink yeah the truth is all the AP projects uses threaded comments internally. It's mostly about the UI how we see them tho

@lanodan umm that's actually a bug it's not there. Thanks for pointing that out! Will fix this soon

@mariusor oh yes, i'm super open to discussion, AP implementation is heavily borrowed from the mastodon code itself and i was not taking too much attention on the validity of it, i was focusing mostly of making it federate - that's a crappy way of implementing software but it worked. Anyway, i would love to hear your opinion on literally anything :)

@zaph0d its currently restricted just to patreon/librepay donators and active chat contributors ;)

@mibzman yeah, there will be a thing called "subs" (acts like subreddit) you will be able to join and follow
