    @ster @morii Yes the documentation will be done after the API is released.

    Its based on Mastodon and Twitter v1.1 API so its familiar to developers that have used those before!

    Pixelfed Lite: Javascript free, lightweight, and accessible alternative UI for everyone.

    We are going to rewrite the main UI in Vue over the next few months after federation support is finished. This will allow more features that are not possible without js while maintaining basic non-js support. #pixelfed #pixeldev

    Video support will be a huge feature because it changes how pixelfed stores local and remote media in a fundamental way.

    Only a single copy of each file will be stored.

    Jane uploads a cat picture. John uploads the same picture. If Jane deletes her post, her unique url to the cat picture is deleted. The original file still exists if more than 1 post contains it. #pixeldev
