After spending a week on a social media site whose features aren't driven by ad revenue, and therefore isn't driven by perpetual outrage, I find myself thinking about how my posting habits affect and inform the quality of other interactions around me. Long story short, I want to be more mindful instead of just posting off-the-cuff. I've had this desire before, but it feels like it can be achieved now.
