Been listening to the episode “Painfotainment” from #HardcoreHistory. Dan Carlin explores the history and psychology of public violence and executions.

He asks some important questions like, “If we modern people had the option to see a movie with fake violence and movie with real violence (real swords, real bullets, real death), which would we choose?”

Not for the faint of heart, but definitely worth your time.

One reason I appreciate Qoto.org is the effort to give opposing opinions a fair and equal voice.

We all tend to retreat into our preferred silos. Conservatives hang out with other conservatives. Liberals prefer the company of other liberals.
