the body is a proprietary (or at least undocumented) software package. but a clan of hackers called "medical doctors" are working to fix that! they have this whole jargon:

- anatomy is reverse engineering most of the constituent systems
- genetics is doing the same but using only static analysis
- general practitioners are user support
- pharmacology mostly just fixes small bugs all day, sometimes really big or rare ones though
- immunology/epidemology is security

fuck nihilism, fuck refusing to help people, fuck denial in the face of evidence

that patient would still be alive if you had given them an antibiotic instead of a prayer
