@nattiegoogie it is a British term although officially they're now called 'towers' a lot of the time. Some people who like them even get annoyed at calling them pylons 🙃

I follow their twitter, it's v good

There is a protest of the Tory party conference in the UK, organised by pro-remain orgs, so really being put forward by FBPE types (a lot of extremely pro-EU folks who stumble into being racist a LOT). This is meant to be a large march/protest to bring leavers around to their cause and show they can be fun.
The march has a theme: circus. They are dressing up as clowns.
