  Cymande (pronounced sih-MAHN-day) is the debut album by British funk group Cymande. It was released in 1972 through Janus Records and produced entirely by John Schroeder. Recording sessions took place at De Lane Lea Studios in London. The album peaked at No. 85 on the Billboard Top LPs and No. 24 on the Soul Albums in the United States. It spawned two singles, "The Message" and "Bra", both made it to the Soul Singles chart, reaching No. 22 and No. 51 respectively. Its lead single "The Message" also peaked at No. 48 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.   Live at Montezuma Hall is the first live album from singer-songwriter Mickey Newbury, recorded at Montezuma Hall at San Diego State University in 1973. Featuring Newbury performing solo with an acoustic guitar, the album is notable for touching renditions of many of Newbury's excellent songs and for his personable and humored performance. The set was not edited for the album. Live at Montezuma Hall was collected for CD issue on the eight-disc Mickey Newbury Collection from Mountain Retreat, Newbury's own label in the mid-1990s, along with nine other Newbury albums from 1969–1981.   The Henry Cow Legend (often referred to as Legend or Leg End ) is the debut album of British avant-rock group Henry Cow. It was recorded at Virgin Records' Manor studios over three weeks in May and June 1973, mixed in July 1973, and released in September 1973. Content With the exception of "Nine Funerals of the Citizen King", which the whole group sings, and background voices on "Nirvana for Mice" ("Sweet mystery of life I will remember"), "Teenbeat" and "The Tenth Chaffinch", this is an instrumental album. The jazzy Canterbury sound on some of the pieces shows Henry Cow's beginnings, although they quickly moved on to establish their own unique sound.With the Yellow Half-Moon and Blue Star is a Fred Frith composition that was commissioned by the Cambridge Contemporary Dance Group under Liebe Klug, and was named after a painting by Paul Klee ("Avec la demi-lune jaune et l'étoile bleue").
