    Old movies are cool, even the dopey ones like Singin in the Rain. Hollywood lost all its class in the 60s sometime. I think it might have been the addition of color. I don't think they have made a movie really worth watching in 50 years or so.

    OK, I may be being thick here, but I can't seem to set the first day in the #Ubuntu calendar to Sunday. Tried out quite a few of the tips online, but I can't change it. I've set the first_weekday to 1 on the en_GB file, but this does nothing :( Can anybody help? #linux

    True and I happened to think about a certain person on GS whom I really did not like at all. I left other social platforms because of this person and it seemed everybody on GS befriended him too. I got to reading his replies to everyone I came to realise, that even though he was a sanctimonious #$_&+, he wasn't really as bad as I remembered.

    @sonyam I agree, but in practice it's not possible to convert an established StatusNet instance from http to https. If and when I do manage to set up a GS site of my own, I'll make sure it's https right from the start.
