    En realidad Signal es una app para mensajeria, OMEMO es la implementacion para XMPP del protocolo Axolotl que usa Signal y que fue inventado por Moxie Marlinspike y Trevor Perrin y que luego se llamo protocolo Signal, pero no confundir con la app. La implementacion OMEMO fue desarrollada inicialmente por Andreas Straub y luego tambien por el desarrollador de la app Conversations, Daniel Gultsch.

    @demoakracia No son menos seguros, son menos cómodos si acaso. Y si, estoy de acuerdo en que a veces hay que tirar para adelante sin más, pero no si no hay suficientes aplicaciones de escritorio que puedas usar con omemo. @colegota

    @colegota Vale el mismo, pero tienes que añadir hostnames al generarlo, si quieres usar salas y http upload. Por ejemplo, tendria que se valido para dominio.net, salas.dominio.net y imagenes.dominio.net. Mejor esto que tener tres certificados diferentes

    @jordila Sip. Lo bueno de usar un dominio SRV es que podrias migrar el servicio xmpp a otro servidor sin tener que migrar todo el dominio. Pero en cualquier caso eso puedes hacerlo llegado el momento.

    @demoakracia No es un fallo, es así por disenyo. Y acualmente, cuando una sala está cifrada pero entra un cliente que no soporta cifrado, la sala pasa a no usar cifrado por compatibilidad. Supongo que cambiaran eso en algun momento, pero de momento es asi. @boina @colegota

    @colegota A lo que ya te han dicho, solo anyadir que si quieres tener la flexibilidad que te da tener un dominio asociado a un servicio, puedes usar un registro SRV: https://prosody.im/doc/dns

    @mb Yeah, I use the docker container too, and it also gives me that message when using SIGHUP. But it doesn't change de configuration, it just stays there forever.
