I just have a special affinity for subway antiauthoritarian feminist protests in Iran, maybe due to my previous thread https://todon.eu/@b9AcE/108261530595284172 from before these protests.

I mean, look at the antiauthoritarian feminist protest at Beheshti University, Tehran, today.
Almost anywhere else, the "authorities" would denounce that as "Black Bloc", but they just can't do that now, now can they? :-D

In Mashhad, the northeast Iran hometown of the President and the "Supreme" Leader, the people also tonight in solidarity declare Sanandaj and Zahedan the "eye and light of Iran".
Sanandaj in the northwest (Rojhelat, Iran-held Kurdistan) and Zahedan in the southeast (Iran-held part of Balochistan) have been the most brutally repressed, for decades as also now.

The evening's protests started also in Rasht, northern Iran, demanding death to the dictator.

This from today reminds me of back at the start of the authoritarianism feminist protests in Iran continuing today, how "experts" speaking in worldwide major media and the regime insisted that it would "die down in a couple of days" and that it was "only a few extremists".

Of course the people of Isfahan, central Iran, keeps standing up for freedom tonight, also declaring solidarity with Sanandaj and Zahedan, as seen earlier tonight in Mashhad (northeast).

Also Tehran once again tonight declares in solidarity with the Kurd- and Baloch-majority Sanandaj in northwest and Zahedan in southeast declares them the "eye and light of Iran" – and the women declare themselves free women.
