I'm gonna tell you what's happening next: first, the top 3 "alternatives" to twitter will have their servers flooded with new users and start to slow down, which is already happening right now. Then those users are gonna forget their passwords in one or two weeks and get back to twitter so they can complain about Elon Musk where they *think* "everyone" will see their ramblings. Then things will stabilize again in the fediverse, get back to "normal".
