Info: The artist Charles Leval, alias Levalet, stands out from the usual forms of street art, as his scenes, lovingly drawn with ink on paper, show figures in their (often tragic-comic) everyday lives. They seem like repressed, unconscious feelings and experiences. They often fill long walls and are even told as serial stories. For the "Les Recontres d' Aubergine" festival, he distributed some pasteups around the city.

The beige-colored brick wall was decorated with two large black and white googly eyes, a long nose and an open mouth and looks very friendly. However, the house with a face was only on display for one day, as another large mural is being created here. A bit of fun, because the artist has already painted over it again and is now redesigning the wall in large areas of color. 12 Apr. 2024. Between tall modern buildings, a standing man in an old-fashioned grey suit and white shirt can be seen out of focus. The mural appears gray-metallic and blurred, as if behind frosted glass, and the figure can only be guessed at. This type of painting is the trademark of the artist Fintan Margee. Info: The anonymous Phlegm is a special street artist because he has developed his very own style based on comic figures he has already drawn. His apocalyptic figures become part of the architecture on which they live. Phlegm comes from Nordwaldes. The name Phlegm comes from one of the four humors in ancient Greek medicine: blood, yellow bile, black bile and phlegm. It was believed that phlegm was responsible for an apathetic and emotionless temperament.
