    @dosnostalgic might be, if the batch is excellent and hasn't degraded. but half a stem and cap can't be so significant that you'll lose ground. i would find that surprising.

    @dosnostalgic holding on to reality on a trip is pretty much the worst thing you can do to yourself. but learning to let go is the lesson, after all. hard for me too :-)

    microdosing needs to be binary searched: to begin take 1 stem and cap, wait about an hour, decide if that's a level you can work with. if not: try a week later (to reset tolerance), halve. if yes: try twice that next week. you'll quickly figure out where the limit is.

    @dosnostalgic cannabis operates in its own class - if even the mellow strains don't work as a relaxant for you, then that's it i guess.

    and, let's be honest, shrooms and acid are more brain jogging/marathon-running than relaxation. like, the best part of my trips was always when coming back. a real anti-drug ;-)

    there's still ketamine which is good for the brain, but personally i hate it. a trippy tranquilizer that patients hated so much, doctors figured it only fit to be used on animals.

    @dosnostalgic currently, the situation is as such that we have a martini on weekend evenings and i must admit i like the buzz. occasionally when i have a depression i do a bit of shroom microdosing which for me is closer to a mild dose of amphetamines or six cups of coffee ;-) i get quite manic.

    ah! there's also molly. fantastic drug, good once a week; but i've never taken it on my own. might get lonely.

    @dosnostalgic psychedelics. but these - any of them - should, at best, only be done once a week.

    any daily dopamine related hack (which includes cannabis) can in the long term produce bounce back effects of fear, unrest and paranoia because the body starts dialing down its own dopamine production.
