    with the new filtering / rewriting facility we now have a system in Pleroma that allows very fine-grained control over what's going inside your database. This allows:

    - Blocking domains and users
    - Removing domains and users from the public TLs
    - Removing keywords from the public TLs
    - Blocking keywords
    - Wordfilters (tbh -> desu)
    - Auto-nsfw hiding for certain domains
    - Filter emoji
    - Add emoji
    - and more!

    The important part is that this gives you real control over your incoming data, not just a general block / banhammer. I hope this will lead to a lot less blocking on the fediverse, because there are other options now.

    i've seen the drive to push everyone into higher education "no matter what you want, because learning is great" destroy so many people that i just can't take that argument anymore. yeah, learning is fun, but it's good to learn something that actually pays the bills! Your parents can't pay for you forever, and it sucks to be dependent.
