Oh man, people's conception of minimalism has changed beyond recognition. Just sign in to your wordpress.com account and search for minimalist themes. Or search for minimalist WP themes in general. A vast majority of them look like bloated Facebook-ish garbage. :-/ This wasn't the case 10 years ago.

I am going to distribute some free software DVDs among theatre people on Software Freedom Day. Each person will get two DVDs: 1) A free operating system 2) A collection of free software that they can run on Windows.

Has anyone tried #Kdenlive Windows version? It is still in beta stage. Is it a good idea to include it in the second DVD? I guess not.

A happy day. For the first time EVER I heard from a client that I should send everything in .odt format. He further stressed, 'send everything in Libre Office! Libre, Libre... you know, that's easier'. And then he emailed me an #odt file. \o/ #FreeSoftware #FreeFormats #foss #opendocument
