@horia on both my servers (one with maybe 5 actually active email accounts, the other with about 15 active users,) it was using - IIRC - up to 600 MB .
I don't think it's number of users that affects it so much as it is the size of its own internal database of virus signatures.

@horia ClamAV uses LOTS of ram. I don't bother with it ( in the mail server). Postfix blacklists/tweaks + Spammassassin/Spamass-milter (or Rspamd) do the job just fine, imho
