Just finished implementing a "download all your data as a zip file" feature for https://recen.se/
So now you can get all your data out whenever you want :)

Ok, here we go!
Announcing Recense, a bookmarking service to save all your precious links (or whatever else you want to put into it):
https://recen.se/
It's still a bit rough around the edges (hey, I'm no web designer), but the basic functionality is there, and I've been using it for a while.
Also, I just open sourced it: https://github.com/jonvaldes/recense
Just so you know, "git -amend" doesn't amend anything.
It gets parsed as: git -a -m 'end'
That is, it commits all modified files with a message that just says "end"
I suffer so you don't have to 🤦♂️
"They didn't need precision. Only technology, and patience.
The plan was simple: they would track his phone's position, and send telemarketer calls to cars approaching the same intersection as him.
Some of those would pick up the phone. Some of those wouldn't see him coming. One of those would kill him.
And nobody would suspect them"
I'm writing some microfiction stories of ways Google could use its technology to assassinate people. Anyone wanna join?

@xiroux I deleted my facebook account ~8 years ago and told me it was going to delete all my data. 2 years ago I moved to sweden, where facebook plays the same role as Whatsapp in spain (which, hey, it's also owned by facebook!), so I reopened it, and ALL MY DATA WAS THERE. Friends, photos, chat conversations, EVERYTHING. I don't know how one is supposed to REALLY delete those accounts
I'm finding English to be the most important language for a developer. Not C++, Python, Rust, Ruby, Go or anything like that.
English.
Learn it. Get better at it.
Your ability to communicate is paramount if you work on a team.
