You're attacking me, instead of dealing with the evidence of collusion, because the latter is indefensible for an aid organization. (And I haven't even mentioned the participation of UNRWA's employees in the Oct 7 massacre yet.)

(And, no, the Ukrainian govt is not a terrorist organization, as Hamas is, and it hasn't used a putative international aid organization to indoctrinate children, fund its weapons program, hide internationally sought criminals, give terrorists digital infrastructure, and use aid vehicles for terror campaigns. Gosh you're stretching it with false comparisons that rely on Kremlin talking points.)

@SteveThompson @nicholas_saunders I'm embarrassed that one of my state's Senators, Chris Van Hollen, has gone to the mat for UNWRA and is willing to defend it in the face of massive evidence that UNWRA has cooperated with Hamas.

I voted for Alsobrooks in the Dem primary yesterday but with some hesitation given Van Hollen's early endorsement of her. I will be watching her campaign closely to see if she distances herself from a Senator who's become a hate-purveyor IMO.

It would be conspiratorial were there no facts to back up the claim. But there are many, most notably the shared electric and WiFi infrastructure at the UNRWA headquarters in Gaza discovered in February. And of course we now have satellite footage of Hamas militants converging at UNRWA's new headquarters.

You're quick to charge racism. That's a deflection. Deal with the facts.

I see the power play you're making and refuse to submit to your biased frame. In general, I would prefer if the UNHCR would take over the operations of the UNRWA. The former has a history of dealing with refugees at a fraction of the cost of teh UNRWA, which is ineffective, corrupt, sclerotic, and supports terror. Have a nice day. Graze elsewhere.
