Question for you!

I'm building a static website and thinking of using formspree.io for the contact form. Got any alternatives to recommend for the task?

They seem like a good service, but their use of Google's recaptcha makes me want for an alternative.

I just created myself an account on 404.city in order to play around with xmpp. I'd love to add some folks to my roster so I can get used to this new weirdness.

Anyone else find themselves using mastodon's favorite feature as a, "I want to reassure you that you're not just yelling aimlessly into the void, ' button?

I'm unofficially calling it the, 'I hear you' button from now on.

I've been using #markor on #android for plain text and markdown editing. The developer keeps making lovely little additions that make it a useful tool without breaking anything.

It's a terrific example of an app that quietly gets better at doing a relatively unpopular yet critical task.

I was using IA Writer before I switched to using as many #foss #floss apps as I could. No regrets.

Boosting is similar to Twitter's retweet function, though by design it does not allow you to add commentary on top of the original post.
