Not everyone has a computer at hand 24/7, but most people do have a smartphone. At the very least the website should have a responsive layout, but cgit has a pretty conservative web design and so it won't even fit the screen when not zoomed in.

CI/CD is fine I guess, but it makes maintaining the whole thing harder if you end up getting it.

e-mail only for handling PRs, eww... setting up a good mail server is painful, not public by default, replies can get messy, messages get lost in untidy inboxes, etc. Not as intuitive as clicking to clone, doing commits, clicking again for PR either - but you're using cgit anyway
