@oct2pus No, not a bot, it should be a compatibility layer on the servers themselves. And PMs would be chaotic as they mix up with regular notifications and messages and it would only be practical for following very few pages - you should instead have an option to get notifications for specific accounts/hashtags/whatever.

Imagine that. No more need to setup a social network account for companies, just let the RSS feed on your CRM or whatever you use. As open, federated and clean as it gets.
