Has anyone here already looked at the code of the European Federation Gateway Service (EFGS) for european #corona apps? Would be interested what you think about it.
Why can't we have insightful conversations like this in NZ political debate, instead of the kindergarten squabbling and shameless self-marketing we have to put up with, especially during elections.
My position is I'm skeptical of tackling these issues through new copyright licenses, but they are issues that absolutely needs addressing! I think being more particular about which projects & software architectures we tackle *can* help, but mostly we need to spread new norms.
e.g. Make it clear we value libre OVER gratis!
P.S. Major software companies do tend to shun if not explicitly avoid the (A)GPL...
If the work is being published in some website run by third-party, contact the copyright holder of the work and tell them to provide alternative direct download links and, optionally, suggest the copyright holder to send request for compliance to the publisher.

When you said “region locks should not exist send toot”, I thought you were saying “Region locks shouldn't exist to send toots”. The mistake might have occurred due to the fact that the post has none or misaligned punctuation. But I do agree that even I, when faced with great anger, tend to forget how to properly write stuff.
@cwebber@Argus Hm, I see… Thinking again about it, I also consider the change of terminology somewhat problematic, specially now that all of us have so many things to focus on.
@devinprater@grainloom Hm… I see and do agree that this could be subject for improvement. I some times contribute to #FreeSoftware projects, although to solve other issues, but I do give occasional takes on accessibility issues.
@strypey I think Drew spells pretty clearly the word "cryptocurrency", not "blockchain technology". I would be curious if he considers both to be equally vile, but I think that in regards to the former his statement is pretty valid.
In the wake of the huge response to The Social Dilemma, I feel like the time has come to really push forward on Fyre Exyt, a project to create a detailed guide to escaping the datafarms.
I envisioned a page for each datafarm, to describe:
* what data users can export and how * how to delete your account * what liberating software / services could be the best replacement for various use cases of the datafarm
