To "protect" myself from dungeon crawl stone soup, I:
- don't have it installed in my default profile (but I can just run `guix environment --ad-hoc crawl` to make one)
- Have a bash alias which admonishes me for trying to run crawl (so I just type `which crawl` instead)

It's not very effective...

Currently putting the finishing touches on the game I'll be submitting, which will of course be a free software and free culture work: Licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL) version 3 (or any later version.)

There are some rules to follow ("Authors must refrain from discussing any entries in a public forum during the voting period") so that's all I think I can say for now.

My pace has been a bit slow due to some away-from-keyboard priorities, but work is happening!

I'm fixing the development builds in Vervis to allow people to build locally and work on UI.

Comment and ticket-opening federation is successful so far. The next thing I'll bring to the spec draft (and implement) is VCS commit notifications. Then, patches and merge requests.

@Thib This is partly why I say I think this is a lot like when Mastodon rolled out "private messages" to OStatus that weren't private messages at all, and instead people who shouldn't have seen the messages started seeing them, and it caused a big ruckus. Sounds to me like this is that, volume 2.

It's *worse* to tell users they're having direct messages that don't resemble such at all. Similarly, it's *worse* to tell users that nazis can't see their public posts, when they easily can.

OKay; I gave the boy cat some catnip. He's high now and rolling around on the floor. Meanwhile the girl cat, who never seems interested in catnip, sits on the sidelines watching as if to say, "What are you *doing*?"

Why do toasters have a setting so that they burn the bread? Does anyone actually like burned toast?
