Do any #jabber #xmpp experts know of any existing work around cancelling push notifications when you've read a message on another device? I've read XEP-0357 and afaict it's not covered.

Periodic reminder that at a bash prompt, ctrl-a jumps to the beginning of the line and ctrl-e to the end. There are lots more but we'll all be happier if we're not holding left keys so much.
