@brashley468 @paulfree14 it's obviously not only Spain's fault. Right wing Catalan parties have never been really up for independence as that implies a new ruling order that will change current establishment. That's why they've been just using the people's will for they profit by embracing the project without real efforts. I'd like to express this better but I didn't find the perfect English words, hope you understand 🙂

@brashley468 @paulfree14 what I really missed was REAL support from the considered left parties from Spain who were supposed to be against the current regime. They were mostly absent at the beginning of the process by asserting that Franchoist legacy can be demolished from within the Spanish state. And that, IMHO, has proved impossible since long time ago

@brashley468 @paulfree14 I think that self-organization of people took a big step forward with the defense of the referendum first, and the Republic afterwards (to some degree, not as much as I would like to) from what I used to see. But it should be acknowledged that it's a really hard task with the HUGE efforts to combat it from the Spanish state in all fronts: police and "justice". Accusations of rebelion and terrorism are used at ease against civil disobedience actions.
