not only should you be captioning/describing your images

you should be requesting #MastoDev team improves upon it such as allowing us to see the whole image as we describe it, and a better visual indicator that the image isn’t described while uploading (maybe even an alert before posting!)

fight to make the fediverse more accessible

just like with the other outbursts at added features : it’s not solely about the feature.

it’s about the amount of power one person has over the fediverse. it’s about his lack of listening to marginalized voices. it’s about his seeming lack of care for those hurt by him and others he supports. it’s about him not taking abuse into consideration when implementing new things as well. it’s about the many ignored users and requests.

your descriptions never have to be perfect and describe every small details.

describe it as if you’re telling your friend about a new image you saw and asking if they saw it. “hey did you see that picture of the small yellow dog being tossed into the deep snow?”

help people always when you are able

donate a little each time you can

reach out for emotional help too

don’t wait for them to be in dire circumstances

but really

protests only do so much. disturb their peace. mess with their lives. harass them out of office. truly and literally.

do not give them a moment of peace and quiet. make their lives hell.

like they do not care about protests because it doesn’t impact them and they can ignore it or just deal with it for the one day they last

make their lives miserable.

i have seen a lot of the stuff she posts about unfold (with bofa, some M.S stuff, some ACP stuff) as it happened so i know she's certainly not making it up (and she's excellent at keeping reciepts)
