   @n_alegret Que jo sapiga hi ha mastodont.cat en funcinament i operativa hi havia algo més i era del mateix administrador però no se com està el tema. També hi ha la xarxa Diaspora una instancia feta per catalans, però no federa al GNUsocial ni Mastodon. Jo ho faig federar per https://libranet.de però s'ha de configurar.

   Yeah, there's a couple:

   @GetTogetherComm is a free open alternative to meetup.com:

   (It's not federated yet, but that's on the roadmap. For the moment you can use this instance.)

   The other option is Friendica, which has a Facebook-style events calendar feature.

   Friendica federates through ActivityPub so it's compatible with Mastodon, Pleroma, PixelFed, PeerTube etc. https://libranet.de and https://social.isurf.ca are pretty good instances.

   Friendica, the federated open source alternative to Facebook, has just released its 2018.09 update:
