Today marks the 30th anniversary of the Lockerbie Bombing.
On December 21 1988 a bomb exploded on Pan Am Flight 103 as it was flying over Scotland, en-route to New York & Detroit. The plane crashed on the town of Lockerbie.
All 243 passengers and 16 crew were killed. A further 11 people in Lockerbie were killed when the remains of the plane came down. The remaining fuel caused a fireball in the town.
