This a colorized weather satellite photo of the southeastern United States. Clouds, green land, and the Gulf of Mexico are visible. State and national boundaries have been filled in by a computer. This image was received by amateur radio operator NT5TM at his home station in Dallas, TX, in August of 2022, directly from an orbiting NOAA weather satellite. Vertical black and white bars of satellite telemetry are visible on each side of the image.
