Several neo-Nazi groups, including Patriot Front, the Aryan Freedom Network, and American Nationalist Initiative were met with opposition from antifascists and the LGBTQ+ community in #GrandPrairie, #Texas. Members of @efjbgc were also on hand and provided armed community self-defense.
Nazis threw up Hitler salutes and screamed anti-LGBT slurs. Some flew flags with Nazi symbols and wore swastika patches. Groups like American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property stood side by side these white supremacists.
Like many far-Right drag protests in #Texas, which bring together Christian Nationalists and neo-Nazis, the far-Right rally was organized by Kelly Neidert, a self-identified "Christian fascist." Neidert has a long history of organizing rallies that are also attended by Proud Boys and various Hitler saluting neo-Nazi groups.
