A grid of stylized signs representing the lyrics of "Friday I'm In Love" The signs are in the style used in public convenience (toilet) signs: an unadorned figure, or a similar one with a shaped torso implying a skirt. The grid is 5 by 4. Each sign is labelled with a day of the week, each line has one for each weekday. Most signs are black on yellow. Line 1: Mon: Black on Blue sign. Standing figure. Tuesday, Wednesday: Similar, but black on grey. Thursday: Figure 1 holding an arm out horizontally with a hand raised vertically towards figure 2 as if making a "stop" gesture. Friday: Figure leaping, arms raised, adorned by a cluster of red hearts on either side. Line 2: Monday: Prone figure with limbs arranged similarly to the recovery position. Head detached. Tuesday, Wednesday: figures on these two are mirrored, facing one another. Each figure holds a half valentine and is staggering back as if they had torn the valentine apart. Thursday: empty Friday: as line 1 Line 3: Monday: Yellow figure on a black background. Tuesday: Figure leaning & clutching its chest, torn valentine to left of figure. Wednesday: similar, but lying on ground with torn valentine above. Thursday: figure with back turned to viewer, arms crossed. Friday: as line 1. Line 4: Monday: Figure holding head in hands. Tuesday, Wednesday: Figures lying on their side and back respectively, on mattresses. Thursday: figure facing a wall, posed as if examining a work of art. Friday: as line 1.
