   Such understated creatures.

   A female blackbird breakfasting among the fallen leaves here on the sanctuary this morning.

   Again - this is why we need to back off nature and leave her be.

   Leave fallen leaves where they fall. They’re supposed to be where they fall.
   They’re vital.
