   So Samantha finally started texting me after the whole “trying to make Finger into an outside cat during lunch” drama. She says I should get Finger a vest like the one pictured below, to protect him from the local wildlife, since I’m so worried about him being taken by a bird or a coyote.

   I told her a damn vest wouldn’t keep him from being poisoned by teenagers or hit by a car. She left me on read. Things are still extremely tense between us now.
