Photo of a guitar pickup winding machine. It is a wooden box contructed with finger joints and finished in yellow shellac. It has a speed control knob and a LCD counter readout on the front, and on the side it has a plywood plate that is rotated by a motor inside the box. There is a magnetic sensor behind the plywood plate for the counter. A white pickup bobbin is bolted to the plate. A steel rod with two collars forms the wire guide, which extends from the front right corner of the box, on the same side as the plywood bobbin plate.

I built a guitar pickup winding machine.

More on this topic will follow as I progress and as I have time to post.

I have some unusual pickup designs in the works.
