For millennia, the swastika was used as a religious symbol, a good luck charm or simply as an ornament by a number of cultures from the Navajo to Asian Buddhists. Then Hitler appropriated that symbol and people all over the world stopped using it for that nefarious association. Today, Benjamin Netanyahu is dooming the Star of David to the same fate.
