The photograph shows the moment when the father, standing with his back to the photographer, raises his arms and the child floats. The small child, dressed in winter clothes, floats in the air about 1 meter above him (in a kind of sitting position with outstretched arms) and laughs towards the camera. Info: French photographer René Maltête (1930-2000) was a passionate street photographer. His photos are simply amazing, and what is even more impressive is the sheer number of fleeting moments he was able to capture. He was characterized by a mischievous sense of humour, nonchalance, gentle irony and sometimes seriousness.
