     @dosnostalgic I was playing new games which I considered my all time goats up until 22, with the exception of Elden Ring which I realized failed to disappoint me in the way Zelda Link To The Past did when it was new!

     @dosnostalgic I played a ton of Mario 35 during the pandemic, but those were exceptional circumstances AND it was based on a game I played when I was 12!

     @dosnostalgic I wonder if today’s generation will ever feel the same as strongly, because the rudimentary graphics of the early eighties which forced you to use your imagination (which I suspect is why they’re so firmly lodged in my mind at least) are these days only found in a select few indie titles…
