Before getting all too exited about #ChatGPT a quick reminder that the company developing it, #OpenAI, is founded by Elon Musk and funded by PeterThiel. Musk known for his dubious ethics to say the least and Thiel is the man that prefers autocratic regimes over democracy because it serves his capitalist interests better. Besides that he's founder and chairman of Palantir, a surveillance platform deeply involved with the national security state. Now would you trust your data to these people?
