     @benoit, do you frequently use toilet paper or tissues to wipe your glasses?

     And did you have the anti-scratch coating on these? Plastic lenses are way too soft...

     @benoit I got new glasses this time after just one year. Not self inflicted scratches, but one could see a pattern on the lenses - they claimed this was due to me using glasses in the onsen and putting other stress on them.

     @codewiz @globalc I exclusively use soft clothes designed for glasses or camera lenses, so that's weird. I think this is the blue filter coating that is scratched.

     @benoit @globalc I'm starting to wear glasses again after over 10 years from laser surgery, and now I'm noticing those annoying chromatic aberrations around text... and the slight distortion when I turn the neck...

     @benoit @globalc No, but the effects of presbyopia appear over time and there's no treatment.

     @benoit @globalc Well, the laser surgery also failed to correct 100% of the astigmatism in one eye, but I could live with it...
