     Thought there are many people who feel they _have_ to be on Twitter due to network effects. The recent wave of notable people moving to Mastodon would helps offset this.

     @codewiz it will make no difference to you if you only interact on mastodon. If mastodon turns into a hate platform towards Musk then it will also be doomed. There are better discussions to be had here.

     @codewiz It is baffling to me how any serious person could use such unserious polling techniques. The sample is conspicuously biased. That said, even with the bias, it is pretty clear his followers are not thrilled with the mess he is making.

     @codewiz I don’t _have_ to be on either but I choose to be on both. I don’t get triggered by the misinterpretations of some tweets like others do. I enjoy a debate and I like the opportunity to see things first hand and make up my own mind.

     @RickMGoldie I'm also on both platforms, but I spend 95% of the time here on Mastodon because there's just a better community for my niche interests: retrocomputing, anime, linux, free software...
