I'm noticing more and more technology people seem to share this trait that as a technology pushes into a new area, they act like their expertise in the technology conveys an automatic expertise in the field they're trying to apply the technology towards.

So #Blockchain grifters seemed to believe they understood finance, or chains of custody, because they understood Blockchain. And now the grifters in #AI seem to think they have a perspective worth considering about #Art.
